Another "10 Questions Interview" Session today! This time we will be diving into the Rock genre! We had a great time interviewing today's artist. Check below our 10 questions with GUISE!

What were you a natural at when you were a kid?

Louie: I’ve always been drawn to singing. My dad was a musician so I think I started singing not long after I could talk! You’d know I’d arrived somewhere before you’d see me because you’d hear me singing - a personal favourite at the time was Part of Your World from the Little Mermaid! Jassy: I'll be honest, I didn't really have any talents when I was younger, if you asked my parents they'd probably say I was a pain in the a**, so let's go with that...

What's the best thing you got from one of your parents?

Louie: I think the best thing I got was definitely my love for music which I got from my Dad, Nicky James. He was always playing his guitar and we’d sing together - usually Fields of Gold by Sting or Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver! Jassy: You know what, I reckon I was quite lucky, got a few good bits off of my parents, if I had to mention one though, I would have to go with getting my sense of humour from my Dad, always love having a good giggle.

What are you known for?

Louie: Probably my sense of fashion! I do have a habit of treating life like it’s a Catwalk! Jassy: That one's easy, definitely my completely over the top sense of style, but you know, you're never gonna lose me in a big crowd, so, it does come in handy.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

Louie: Ideally, I’d like to have sold out Wembley! Should I finish it at that? Jassy: Hopefully to have released a good few albums and played some proper naughty gigs.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

Louie: Streaming services giving artists a fairer pay. Jassy: I think labels being willing to take more risks on the artists they choose to work with, although there are some bangers that come into the charts every now & then, I think it would definitely give way to more interesting songs getting out there and push for more creativity.

If you would have the possibility to collaborate with a big artist, who would that be? why?

Louie: Definitely Stevie Nicks! She’s a huge influence on my Vocals and Songwriting and I think we’d make some epic tunes together! Jassy: That's a tough one, but i'd have to go with KISS (the original line-up ofc), they're my favourite band and a big influence on my writing, so would be great to collaborate with them. They write naughty bangers and filthy riffs, I wanna get in on that.

What's your favourite thing to do in your free time?

Louie: Pole Dancing! It’s great exercise and a lot of fun, maybe you’ll see some in a music video in the future! Jassy: Three words - Beer, beats & boogie...

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Louie: I’d say our music is typically very upbeat and very 80s inspired! Lyrically, we like to focus on topics that we feel that people can relate to such as individuality, mental health and being your true authentic self. Jassy: I would say our music from a lyrical stand point is very honest and from the heart, musically, it's very melodic and catchy.

What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?

Louie: If I wasn’t a musician, I think I would have done something Psychology based. I’ve always been fascinated by how the brain works and why we do certain things. I find body language and facial expressions really interesting too, so maybe I’d be a Private Investigator! Who knows?! Jassy: That's a good question...but I mean....I don't really have much of a career in music, not yet at least hahaha.... With all honesty though, if it wasn't music, it would just be something else that is creative, I shoot music videos with one of my best friends, so I guess that's the answer, in reality, I aim to be doing both music and videography side by side indefinitely.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

Louie: The best piece of advice I would give to anyone is always be yourself no matter what. If people don’t like you then it’s because they aren’t happy with themselves so don’t ever let anyone dim your light! Jassy: Keep it naughty, keep it GUISE....

"I purchased a month of radio and air play pitches. I ended up getting picked up by 20 radio stations and got invited to do 2 interviews! My song play stats have almost doubled now and I've gotten a lot of healthy exposure. Next time I have a single I want to spread to the masses, I am working with Indiependency again."
